Pre-Certification Makes Insurance Reimbursement Easy

ERMI has an entire insurance pre-certification department dedicated to smoothing the way for insurance reimbursement.

After we receive a referral from a physician or physical therapist, we contact the patient’s insurance company to assess covered benefits. We then communicate our findings to both the clinician and the patient.

For the clinician, this pre-certification service eliminates paperwork and waiting for return phone calls. For the patient, this service ensures a complete understanding of insurance coverage and co-pays before therapy begins.

Note that ERMI devices are considered durable medical equipment (DME), so coverage amounts are over-and-above coverage designated for clinical therapy.
